Episode Overview
On his final day on the street, Doc's sorrow and guilt over Alex's passing manifest as anger directed at everyone around him, particularly Eugene, the new paramedic trainee who took Alex's spot the day she died. Meanwhile, Kim is in a panic, fearing she may have contracted HIV after having unprotected sex with the drug-addicted Noble, prompting Jimmy to agree to support her during the testing. Swersky advocates for Faith by arranging for Bosco to speak with her before her I.A.B. interrogation. Carlos is upset to learn that Kim is the new supervising paramedic and that Jimmy has been promoted to Lt. Johnson's former role. As Bosco returns to work, he faces hostility from his colleagues due to his betrayal of Maritza. Faith wakes up to find herself paralyzed, and Maritza refuses to let her off the hook for the shooting until Bosco cleverly persuades her to change her statement. Grateful, Faith thanks Bosco for preventing her from going to jail and keeping her job
