Episode Overview

When it’s revealed that the corpse found in the dumpster links back to a string of murders Miller previously investigated, he joins forces with Faith, determined to track down the serial killer and expose the commanding officer who transferred him to keep him off the case. Meanwhile, Brendan and Grace share a romantic moment, and Carlos’s plan to visit Holly and clarify their relationship doesn't go as expected, though he remains unbothered. After a group of junkies hold them at gunpoint for morphine, Carlos suffers a head injury while trying to protect Grace, prompting Ty and Brendan to intervene, with Brendan shooting the assailant threatening Grace. Faith realizes that her home life mirrors Miller's, while the serial killer captures his next victim and arrives at the station to confess his crimes, warning Miller that the victim has only twelve hours left.
