Episode Overview
At his mother Dr. Dorothy Isaak's urging, Chris takes on the task of organizing a charity concert at Bimbo's. On the night of the event, amid a heavy downpour, he shares the stage with a stellar lineup that includes Green Day, The Goo Goo Dolls, Art Alexakis, Trisha Yearwood, Stephan Jenkins, Gavin Rossdale, comedian Kathy Griffin, and possibly even Tina Turner. Throughout the rain-soaked evening, Chris is captivated by a stunning naval officer whose attention seems perpetually just out of reach. Yola, known for frequently canceling plans, rushes to finalize details for the concert before departing on a long-awaited trip to Hawaii with friends. However, her compulsive need to oversee every aspect of Chris's work leads her to miss her flight, forcing her to confront her struggle with letting go of her responsibilities. Meanwhile, Anson is passionately making out with his on-again, off-again girlfriend.
