When Chris discovers that his beloved free parking spot at the public beach has been marked as a red zone, his sense of civic duty kicks in. Determined to stand up for the community's rights, he enlists the help of Michelle Branch and his band to run for parking commissioner, much to Yola's dismay. Meanwhile, Yola's nurturing side emerges as she takes on the responsibility of caring for her six-year-old stepsister, Megan, for a week. Eager to prove her parenting abilities, she quickly realizes that the task is far more challenging than she anticipated. Anson unexpectedly comes into some money, leading him to fret over how to manage it. As his bandmates bombard him with their opinions on safeguarding his newfound wealth, he spirals into anxiety until he finally devises his own brilliant plan.
