Episode Overview

Carpenter Jeff Devlin visits Siobhan and Brian's 1729 home to assess their kitchen and living room additions. The kitchen, originally from the 1800s, suffered a disastrous remodel in the 1980s, complete with awful indoor/outdoor carpeting. Meanwhile, the living room, also a product of the ’80s, is overwhelmed by unattractive wood paneling. To enhance the space, Jeff introduces reclaimed barn beams to create a new threshold between the two rooms, incorporates a stylish mix of rustic cabinetry, and surprises everyone by crafting a coffee table from an unexpected find on the property.
