Episode Overview

A 29-year-old man experiences severe tooth pain and nearly loses his life due to necrotizing fasciitis triggered by the bacteria Streptococcus intermedius and Peptostreptococcus. Meanwhile, a female financial adviser suffers from fatigue, joint pain, mental confusion, hair loss, and muscle weakness for more than three years as a result of Lyme disease. Additionally, a 7-year-old boy faces a range of troubling symptoms including loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, fever, diarrhea, persistent vomiting, and significant weight loss due to a Cryptosporidium infection.
