Episode Overview

Title: Help! My Son is a Leper Plot: A dedicated athlete begins to experience debilitating headaches, stomach issues, respiratory troubles, and a liver mass due to an Entamoeba histolytica infection acquired during a trip to Nicaragua. Meanwhile, a teenager notices a welt on his leg that escalates to fatigue and red blemishes appearing on his skin over several years. When these lesions rupture, doctors diagnose him with leprosy linked to exposure to a nine-banded armadillo (Dasypus novemcinctus). Concurrently, a woman battles intense headaches, nausea, vomiting, and seizures caused by Exserohilum rostratum fungi infiltrating her brain.
