Meanwhile, a man from Texas suffers excruciating pain in his groin, initially diagnosed as an ingrown hair, but it’s later revealed to be botfly larvae that infested him during outdoor urination in Costa Rica. In Florida, a model and dentist grapples with unexplained weight gain over the course of a year, accompanied by blurry vision, debilitating hand pain, and muscle weakness, only to learn that her breast implants are tainted with Aspergillus fungi.
