Episode Overview

On a family cruise, a restless 2-year-old from Louisiana begins drooling, which escalates into vomiting and serious health issues, including kidney and liver failure, after accidentally ingesting a bead from a rosary pea necklace during their trip to Jamaica. Meanwhile, a mother of two from California experiences severe bloating, a full-body rash, abdominal fluid, and meningitis attributed to valley fever caused by Coccidioides immitis. Additionally, a 6-year-old boy suffers from headaches, vomiting, blindness, and strange neurological symptoms, including crossed eyes, ultimately proving fatal, as it is discovered too late that he contracted the Balamuthia mandrillaris amoeba.
