Episode Overview
During Larry's chili pitch, Edward experiences a heart attack scare that prompts him to reflect on his past, when he wasn't burdened by the stress of being a corporate mogul. In an effort to encourage him to embrace a simpler lifestyle, Dharma is surprised when Edward takes over a mall sports shoe store that his company owns, reveling in his newfound role as a top-notch salesman—until Kitty discovers his secret. Meanwhile, while gathering documents for Edward's signature, Greg glimpses the pressures of potentially succeeding his father and realizes that Edward's reluctance to retire stems from his desire for Greg to take over. Dharma empathizes with Greg about leaving his fledgling practice behind, especially since it’s plagued by Marlene's poor management and Pete's misguided "teaching" of sexual harassment.
