Episode Overview

In an effort to address the high accident rates on a notorious freeway, systematic traffic checks and increased patrols are implemented. Dan takes on the task of interviewing drivers with multiple citations, seeking to uncover the root causes of their reckless behavior. One driver rejects Dan’s safety message. After his license gets revoked, his wife takes him to a crucial business meeting. However, when her glasses break, he takes the wheel. Spotting a traffic check, he panics and attempts to escape, leading to a devastating crash that leaves his wife severely injured. He ultimately realizes, too late, the importance of Dan's warnings.
