Episode Overview
In the 4th Century AD, the Roman Empire faces turmoil from catastrophic earthquakes, rampant fires, barbarian attacks, and significant religious schisms. As the empire crumbles, the once-mighty Colosseum stands abandoned, a shadow of its former grandeur. In a bid to revive Rome's fortunes, a fervent devotee of the ancient deities believes that hosting grand, extravagant games in the arena might rekindle the city's spirit. Will his ambitious plan be enough to halt the Empire's downward spiral?
