After a wildlife photographer is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the blame falls on a lethal forest spirit known as Vanaratchi. In response, Crime Branch Inspector Rishi Nandhan is dispatched to Thaenkaadu to look into the matter, accompanied by sub-inspectors Ayyanar and Chitra.
