Episode Overview

The "battle rounds" kick off as the coaches bring in renowned recording artists to mentor their teams. Blake Shelton partners with Rascal Flatts, Adam Levine joins forces with Joe Jonas, Jennifer Hudson collaborates with Kelly Rowland, and Miley Cyrus teams up with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. In this stage, coaches match two of their own contestants in a competitive duet. After the performances, each coach must select the strongest artist from their team and has the opportunity to steal losing contestants from rival teams. Each coach is allowed two steals during these rounds, advancing their chosen artists to the knockout stage.
