Overview
Set in the 1970s, Dan Stark and Frank Savage were celebrated Dallas detectives, hailed as heroes after rescuing the Governor's son. Fast forward three decades, and Dan has become a washed-up cop, often drowning his sorrows in alcohol while reminiscing about past glories. His new partner, Jack Bailey, is a diligent, rule-following detective with a sharp wit that sometimes backfires, leaving him trapped in a lowly position tackling minor theft cases. To make matters worse, Jack must also manage the unpredictable Dan, a notorious figure who struggles to maintain partnerships in the department.
