Episode Overview

Gener travels to Bayreuth, the birthplace of Richard Wagner, celebrated for creating the monumental operatic cycle "The Ring of the Nibelung." This epic saga comprises four operas: The Rhine Gold, The Valkyrie, Siegfried, and Twilight of the Gods. During his visit, Gener explores each of these works as he tours the Autostad automotive facility, steps onto the stage of the Bayreuther Festspielhaus—Wagner’s own theater—and engages in conversation with a leading authority on the composer.
