Episode Overview

Nolan and Irisa are unexpectedly freed from their underground prison just as they learn that enemy troops are advancing on Defiance, a town struggling after the gulanite mines' collapse. At the same time, Datak, Stahma, and Rafe face perilous challenges in their efforts to bring their family back together. Meanwhile, during their trek through the woods, Alak begins to grasp the extent of her mother-in-law's volatility.
