Goren and Eames delve into the insular community of an Irish Traveller clan while probing the murder of Ann Lawson, a probation officer who was tragically run over three times after leaving a bar with a friend. As their investigation unfolds, they discover that Ann had a connection with Malcolm Bryce, the father of Paul, one of the young men she supervised. It becomes evident that Ann was also deeply involved with the Traveller clan, driven by her desire to rescue a young girl from their criminal lifestyle.
