Episode Overview

Mera struggles to adapt to island life while Neri leaves her to assist with the survey once more. Meanwhile, Mick enlists Froggy to use HELEN for eavesdropping on Vanessa’s counseling session. The kids at ORCA plan a surprise birthday celebration for Vanessa, but Mick's prank leads to a hazardous chemical leak and fire. Jason and Brett manage a successful rescue through the air ducts. Following the chaos, it comes to light that Mick has a reading difficulty. Commander Byrne assigns him to Dianne's survey team. Jason feels uneasy about his mother's growing closeness with Sam, and Dr. Hellegren links Mera's escape back to ORCA.
