Episode Overview
As seismic tremors increase, Commander Wellington orders ORCA personnel to consider voluntary evacuations. Cass snaps at Morgan, telling her to "drop dead" after Morgan confronts Jason about skipping a survey dive. Their dive takes a dangerous turn when Morgan is stung by a stonefish, prompting an urgent return to ORCA. Cass is left feeling remorseful for her harsh words to her sister. Meanwhile, Sallyanne attempts to express her feelings for Jason, but he brushes her off to join friends planning to intercept Mr. Lee's Synchronium transfer to Dr. Hellegren. Brett sneaks aboard the UBRI vessel, disables it, and steals a piece of Synchronium before jumping into the water, where Neri and Mera are waiting. Just then, the Coast Guard arrives to investigate UBRI's involvement in Opal smuggling, thanks to Benny's tip-off. Dr. Hellegren, frustrated at losing another Synchronium piece, informs Kal of its critical importance.
