Dan is struggling to catch some sleep as he’s determined to secure first place for his flowers, so he and his friend are taking turns to keep watch. Meanwhile, Spender takes Laura and Kate on an outing. During their time on the hills, Kate witnesses a shocking scene: a boy named Jason Bamford is pushed off a cliff in a suspected murder attempt. In response, Spender sends Stick to investigate the culprits. Stick stumbles upon a doss-house where free meals are offered, but the residents remain tight-lipped about Jason, who has fled from home.
