Jim’s estranged brother, Mike, unexpectedly drops by the Powell home and learns that the family possesses special abilities. Eager to make some easy money, he persuades JJ to utilize his powers for betting on horse races. In another development, Katie receives an unexpected promotion at Global Tech from VP of Human Resources, Victoria Morrow (Rebecca Mader, "Lost"), who appears to have her own hidden motives. Meanwhile, Daphne joins the school's peer disciplinary committee and suspects that a student has been falsely accused of drug possession.
