The Lone Ranger (1949)

Episode Overview

Clay Durfee learns that his appeal has been denied, sealing his fate to be hanged on Monday. Meanwhile, the remnants of his gang, including his brother, plot a prison break by taking members of the Governor's family hostage. When they ambush a coach, the Lone Ranger and Tonto step in, successfully rescuing the Governor's relatives. To blend in, the Lone Ranger outfits his team in disguises and they set off for the state capital posing as Mexicans. However, the gang sees through the ruse and attacks. The Lone Ranger and Tonto track them to their hideout, taking out gang members one by one. A final showdown with Durfee's brother leads to Clay’s downfall and the safe return of the women.
