The Lone Ranger (1949)

Episode Overview

Sheriff Barnes shows up at a cabin in search of Meredith, whom he apprehends for the murder of Judge Scoville. The Lone Ranger learns that there are plans to lynch Meredith. Later, he and Tonto head to town to monitor the jail and speak with Meredith. The Ranger approaches the sheriff, but his worries are dismissed. As night approaches, the townspeople start to rally for the lynching. Once more, the Ranger intervenes and persuades them to abandon their violent intentions.
