The Lone Ranger and Tonto set out to assist a young boy whose mother is considering selling his cherished brown pony. Two escaped prisoners have informed her that they possess information that could clear her husband's name, who is wrongfully imprisoned. However, they are asking for money in exchange for this crucial evidence, and the boy's pony is the only valuable possession she has left to sell.
