As the Lone Ranger and Tonto reach Cottonwood, they witness the shocking murder of a law reformer at the hands of an outlaw. The atmosphere in the town is tense, forcing the Lone Ranger to step in and safeguard the outlaw from a furious mob of townsfolk. Complicating matters further, the sheriff is none other than the reformer's zealous son, eager for vengeance.
