Episode Overview

A man suffers injuries when his chimney unexpectedly blows up. A cocky young intern at Rampart believes he has a better understanding than the paramedics, leading to a potentially deadly misdiagnosis of a heart patient. To teach him a lesson, Dr. Brackett arranges for him to accompany Squad 51 on a ride-along. Meanwhile, a girl finds her hand trapped in a mailbox. Johnny and Roy are called to save a heart attack victim stuck atop an oil refinery tower, all while battling a raging fire in the structure.
