Emergency! (1972)

Episode Overview

During a building fire, paramedics manage to save a pregnant woman, but Johnny ends up injuring his shoulder in the process. As the mother goes into labor, she grapples with overwhelming guilt and considers abandoning her baby, who has deformities. Meanwhile, Dr. Morton cares for Johnny, teasing him about his injury and motivating him to start a fitness regimen. Dr. Early attends to a child who has been electrocuted, while his mother struggles with substance abuse. Additionally, a stabbing victim's son is more focused on revenge than getting his father the medical help he needs. Roy and Johnny also find themselves rescuing a hang-glider pilot stuck in a tree.
