Episode Overview

Roy successfully completes the Engineer's test, but taking the promotion would require him to leave his paramedic role behind. A heavy fog causes a pile-up on the San Diego Freeway, where a young victim is discovered to have a heart murmur. Meanwhile, the paramedics struggle to handle a situation involving a suicide attempt. During a fire at a building, Johnny gets hurt, forcing Roy to save both him and a security guard caught in the chaos.
