Meanwhile, paramedics manage a veteran who is trapped in memories of war, only to discover he has a brain tumor. In a bizarre incident, a woman finds herself wedged in a dog door. Additionally, a well-known author tries to take her own life. The day takes a dramatic turn when a cargo plane crashes in a neighborhood, colliding with a school bus.
