A struggle ensues between them for dominance over the emerald's immense power, resulting in it being dropped and shattered. The moment it breaks, chaos erupts across the land as earthquakes and various disasters begin to unfold due to the unleashed energy. In desperation, Knuckles and the Hedgehog team seek guidance from one of Knuckles’ relatives, hoping to find a solution to prevent Mobius from being consumed by the emerald's destructive force.
