Episode Overview

Hetty receives a call for help from an old friend, her former music-hall partner, who is worried about her troubled foster daughter, Chrissie. The teenage mother has gone missing just as a spate of arson incidents has been reported in the area, and Chrissie has a past involving fire-setting. As Hetty and Geoffrey search for her, a local newspaper's photo competition inadvertently reveals more than expected, leading Geoff to don a wig and high heels to confront the arsonist. In the end, Hetty collects a well-deserved reward for her efforts, showcasing that her dance skills are still sharp during the check presentation.
