Episode Overview

The girls arrive at the castle, where they encounter a girl who resembles Princess Emeraude. Upon hearing Zagato's name, she becomes enraged and hops into her machine to launch an attack on them while they're in their own machines. They manage to escape outside, where a fierce battle ensues. During the confrontation, Princess Emeraude reveals her true identity and shares the painful story of her love for Zagato, which was deemed unacceptable by the pillar protecting Cephiro. To prevent her emotions from interfering, she imprisoned herself, but now it's too late. She declares that to save their world and fulfill her wish, they must kill her. She explains that neither the people of Cephiro nor suicide can end her life, which is why she called them. After a fierce clash, the girls merge into one powerful machine and ultimately defeat her. A brilliant light envelops them, revealing Princess Emeraude and Zagato together at last.
