Magic Knight Rayearth (1994)

Episode Overview

Alcyone pleads with Zagato for another opportunity to eliminate the Magic Knights, claiming she has devised a new strategy. Meanwhile, the girls arrive at a lake, mistakenly believing it to be Eterna. Mokona quickly corrects them, and suddenly, they are ambushed by a monster that takes the shape of the lake. Umi defeats it with her Water Dragon, but its remnants rain down on them, causing them to glow before they shake it off and dry. As they set off for Eterna, Alcyone watches from a distance, chuckling to herself. Upon reaching Eterna, they encounter a long line. Mokona wanders off, prompting Hikaru to follow, and she calls Umi and Fuu over to witness the surprising sight of Eterna being two-dimensional. To see the fountain, they realize they need to rise higher, leading them to leap into the fountain in pursuit of Escudo. However, the girls soon find themselves separated and faced with individual trials
