Episode Overview

Chris finds himself the only boy in his ninth-grade class without a date for the upcoming dance. Ms. Morello encourages him to ask the only girl who is also dateless, and she agrees to go with him. However, complications arise when their interracial pairing becomes the talk of the school. Meanwhile, Tonya puts her parents on edge as she pressures them about her ballet classes.
