Episode Overview

It's not possible for scientists to explore the inner workings of living brains directly. However, by observing individuals with unusual brain conditions—whether from a stroke, injury, or congenital differences—we can gain valuable insights into brain function as a whole. In this episode, I journey to London to meet a blind, autistic savant who possesses remarkable musical talents. Additionally, I take the plunge and volunteer for a temporary disruption of my own brain function at the Neuromodulation Lab at UCLA.
