Episode Overview

The nurses at Seattle Grace Hospital decide to strike, forcing the doctors to manage without their help. George stands firm and chooses not to cross the picket line, ultimately siding with the nurses. Meanwhile, Alex, Cristina, Izzie, and Meredith encounter Dr. Cindy Aaron, who is nothing like Miranda Bailey. Izzie teams up with Addison to tackle a challenging pregnancy case, while Cristina and Alex treat a young woman suffering from a severe rash. Meredith unexpectedly finds herself needing to intubate an elderly woman but soon discovers that the patient has a Do Not Resuscitate order.
