Sixteen-year-old TK attempts to rob the Petersons, but Jerri steps in to prevent him from facing the legal consequences. She takes him in and brings him to the Petersons' house, where Robert mistakenly believes Jerri is trying to fill the void left by Michael, who has gone off to college.
