Episode Overview

Following the conclusion of the Battle for the Apron, the Top 22 home cooks in America embark on their initial Mystery Box Challenge. Each participant receives 20 essential ingredients commonly found in households and is challenged to create a dish as if the judges were dining at their homes. The victor of this Mystery Box Challenge will gain a major advantage in the season's first pressure test, where they will be tasked with crafting their own interpretations of an apple pie.
