Episode Overview

Hootie Kyle, a struggling yet principled farmer, finds himself in a financial bind when his credit is exhausted. In a show of support, Matt Dillon and Festus offer him a loan, but Hootie soon falls victim to a con artist in a poker game, losing the money. Things take a dark turn when he is wrongfully implicated in the murder of the deceitful card player who took his cash, leaving him to prove his innocence amidst the mounting evidence against him.
