To support his visually impaired daughter, farmer Ben Hurley resorts to stealing horses for a band of outlaws. As he grapples with his choices, Deputy Newly O'Brien comes to his farm to conduct an investigation, unaware that the criminals are hot on his trail. The tension rises as both the law and the lawless converge, putting Ben's desperate situation in jeopardy.
