Episode Overview

A farmer approaches Sharp, inquiring about his missing cow. Matt informs the farmer that he lacks evidence to apprehend "the hiders." Determined, the farmer decides to pursue them on his own. Matt warns the men that Dodge will no longer be their refuge if there are any more complaints. Meanwhile, Dink manages to flee from Carp despite being injured. Festus discovers Dink and tends to his wounds. Dink expresses his newfound appreciation for mornings, while Martha cautions him to stay alert for Carp. In a sinister twist, Carp pressures Dink to assist in eliminating Festus.
