A longtime family friend arrives in Dodge searching for Kitty, but his excitement turns to disappointment when he discovers she's a saloon owner. Determined to protect her reputation, he puts himself in danger as he confronts those he believes are disrespecting her. Kitty ultimately sets him straight, insisting she has no honor to defend, which only embarrasses him further. Her frankness drives him away, ultimately saving him from potential harm.
