In Dodge City, a stranger arrives, asserting he is Billy Crale, the presumed-dead son of a wealthy widow. Matt, aware that Billy was declared dead in the Civil War, grows alarmed for Mrs. Crale's well-being. Upon investigation, he discovers that the newcomer is, in fact, an infamous outlaw named Johnny Red, raising serious concerns about the widow's safety and the potential dangers lurking in their midst.
