After a young boy sees his grandfather murdered, Matt embarks on a quest to find the uncle of a newly discovered friend. Festus Haggen is on the hunt for his uncle, who has killed his twin brother, Fergus. Initially cautious, Matt's trust in Festus deepens when he finds him gravely injured from a gunshot.
