Episode Overview

While wandering the prairie, Festus encounters a young girl who reveals she witnessed her mother’s murder at the hands of an unknown assailant. Concerned for her safety, he brings her back to Dodge City. There, Matt discovers that the girl was in hiding during the tragic event, yet she can point out the man responsible, who may already be lurking in town.
