Fear Factor (2001)

Episode Overview

In the first stunt, contestants will board a helicopter that hovers 25 feet above a lake. As the chopper passes over a platform made of boxes, they must leap out and aim to land on the boxes below. Those who successfully touch any part of the boxes will move on, while anyone who misses will be eliminated. For the second challenge, each contestant will have to place their head inside a box filled with 50 tarantulas. To advance, they must endure this for three minutes. In the final stunt, contestants will lie in a Plexiglas tube that fills with water. The contestant who can hold their breath the longest once the tube is full will take home the $50,000 prize.
