Episode Overview
In the first installment of the two-part Championship edition, 13 former Fear Factor winners from the second season returned to battle for the coveted Fear Factor Championship and a grand prize of $100,000. The competition featured five intense stunts, with the men and women competing separately until the final challenge. For the men's first stunt, called Jet Climb, contestants faced a test of endurance and strength. Suspended by their ankles over 100 feet in the air, they were equipped with four boxes strapped to their bodies. Each box contained a key to unlock the next one, and they had to work their way down from their chests to ultimately release a FEAR FACTOR flag from the last box. The top four performers would move on. The women's first challenge was the Inverted Fall, set against the glittering nighttime skyline of Los Angeles, as they faced their own unique test of courage.
