Episode Overview

In the first challenge, titled Boat Jump, two high-speed boats zoomed across a lake at 40 miles per hour, and contestants had to leap across a 7-foot gap to land on the second boat. Those who managed the jump successfully would move on to the next round. The second challenge, Swimming with the Fishes, required contestants to dive into a tank filled with 10 tons of dead squid. They had three minutes to collect 5-pound weights and hang them on an overhead hook. The participant who retrieved the fewest weights faced elimination. Finally, in Flag Snag, contestants had to carefully maneuver to the end of a horizontal pole extending from a rooftop 20 stories up. They needed to grab a flag, return it to the rooftop, attach it to a pole, and raise it. The fastest contestant to finish this stunt would take home $50,000.
