Fear Factor (2001)

Episode Overview

In the first challenge, contestants find themselves trapped inside a Plexiglas chamber that gradually fills with water. They must identify which of four keys opens the two locks at the top to escape through the hatch. The two fastest participants, one man and one woman from each group, will move on, while the rest will be eliminated. Next, in the ostrich egg challenge, contestants are given 20 minutes to consume a massive three-pound raw ostrich egg. Those who manage to finish within the time limit will progress to the finals. The final stunt features a spinning merry-go-round 100 feet in the air. Contestants must navigate a narrow balance beam, retrieve flags from the center, and attach them to flagpoles at the ends of four protruding arms. Once all flags are secured, they must return to the center to stop the clock. The contestant who finishes this challenge the quickest will be crowned the Fear Factor Champion.
